The school was originally known as Union St Council School before becoming East Borough County Primary School.



In November 2018 the school converted to an Academy and is now known as Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough and is located on Vinters Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5DX

Residential flats now occupy the site.
