In the 1950s the school was located opposite South Wishaw Parish Church. It was described as a beautiful red sandstone building.[ http://wikimapia.org/28629554/Site-of-old-Wishaw-Academy-Primary-School ]
The school was demolished c.2008 and moved a new building on Loch Park, Wishaw ML2 7EB.
