Super Moon
A supermoon occurs when a full moon (or new moon) coincides with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit. This results in the largest apparent size of the Moon as seen from Earth. This supermoon occurred on 14 November 2016 and was the closest to Earth since 26 January 1948. The next comparable one will occur on 25 November 2034.
