The old 'Ham Sandwich' signpost, near Eastry, Kent

This was one of two signposts which were found at crossroads near each other in a country lane in East Kent. Apparently the County Council experienced problems with the 'Ham Sandwich' sign arm disappearing so a replacement sign has replaced 'Sandwich' with the village of 'Worth' presumably to overcome the antics of souvenir hunters.
